Sacred Heart + Saint Ann's + Saint Mary's Youth Group

Mission Statement
Youth Ministry is a comprehensive ministry that is to, with, by and for young people of the parish.  The ministry will encourage participation, growth and empower the youth at Sacred Heart, Saint Ann’s and Saint Mary’s to fully commit to active participation in the faith community.

The Youth Ministry will incorporate Advocacy, Catechesis, Community Life, Evangelization, Justice and Service, Leadership Development, Pastoral Care, Prayer and Worship to form strong faith filled Catholic Youth within the larger Sacred Heart, Saint Ann’s and Saint Mary’s Community.

Faith, Fun, Food, and Friends
The youth of Sacred Heart, Saint Ann’s and Saint Mary’s meet Mondays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. to break bread, pray, socialize, and learn together.  The objective of the group is to enable our young people to grow and develop personal relationship with God.  We as a parish need to foster a welcoming atmosphere that offers these young people the opportunities to discover and share their gifts.

The Diocese of Rochester encourages us
       ·   To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the world today
       ·   To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic Faith Community
       ·  To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person
